Inspired by the true story of the 1899 Newsboy Strike, this Tony-Award-winning Broadway musical tells the rousing tale of Jack Kelly and his band of spirited newsboys who dream of a better life. When publishing giants raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack rallies young workers from across the city to stand up and fight for what’s right. Newsies is a high energy celebration of courage, friendship, and the power of young voices to change the world.
