The Dance Academy of Loudoun proudly presents its Third Annual Pre-Professional Gala, an evening celebrating the dedication, artistry, and growth of its pre-professional dancers. This year’s program features a dynamic and diverse repertoire, including a restaging of Swan Lake, the program’s Youth America Grand Prix ensemble works, and a presentation of college audition solos that highlight the next steps in the dancers’ journeys. The performance also includes original contemporary works by Lauren Carnesi Daniels, along with guest choreography by Maggie DeFrees and Aiden Gresock. Emerging voices are showcased through student choreography by Alexandra Steeprow and Ryan Sirinsky, reflecting the program’s commitment to developing not only strong performers, but thoughtful artists. Also premiering is a full-company contemporary ballet by Shylo Martinez.
