This hilarious musical comedy tells the story of a local spelling bee gone rogue. An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of "words" as they hope not to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell, signaling a spelling mistake. Only one speller can win and the losers are comforted by a counsellor as they exit the stage. Come along for the ride as the contestants navigate the stress of the moment and compete for the title of winner.
