The romantic ballet, Giselle, tells the story of true love and a peasant girl who dies of a broken heart when she learns her lover is betrothed to another. The spirits of girls betrayed, led by their queen Myrtha, take revenge, but Giselle’s love and forgiveness prevail freeing her and her beloved from a darker fate.

How to Watch
The May 14, 15, and 16 performances of Giselle are in-person with reduced audience capacity. A limited number of in-person tickets are available for these performances. Patrons will be seated in physically-distanced locations throughout Merchant Hall. Giselle will also be filmed on Merchant Hall stage and recorded for digital streaming on Sunday, May 29 at 7:30 p.m. ET (Streams for 30 days.)
