The 2022 Gramophone Orchestra of the Year nominee, Czech National Symphony Orchestra (CNSO) makes its Hylton Center debut with a masterful program of fiery, powerhouse works under the direction of Music Director Steven Mercurio. Featuring rising violinist Sandy Cameron, who will perform Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor, Op. 64. Cameron debuted as a performer at age 12 and has made waves as a unique artist with a diverse range of musical styles and performance prowess. “Acrobatic, athletic, and commanding, Cameron’s powerful violin playing approach[es] the realm of performance art” (DC Metro Theater Arts).
