When/WhereSunday, Oct 11, 2020 4:00pmWest Side Campus Field and Hill, Science and Technology Campus

Weather Update: Due to impending inclement weather, this outdoor performance by Ranky Tanky is canceled. Ticket holders will be contacted about their ticket options. We look forward to presenting a digital concert by Ranky Tanky, recorded at the Hylton Center. Watch for this in 2021!

Charleston-based quintet Ranky Tanky is about to bring an outdoor concert to the Hylton Center that’s part folk, part funk, and totally fearless. With a sound that’s both playful and spiritual, 2020 Grammy® Award-winning Ranky Tanky specializes in jazz-influenced arrangements born from the Gullah culture of the Southeastern United States. In 2017, their self-titled debut album soared to number one on the Billboard, Amazon, and iTunes jazz charts. “[Ranky Tanky] is primal jubilation,” shares The New York Times. When Ranky Tanky makes its Hylton Center debut for this special outdoor performance, there is no doubt it will lift your spirits.

Enjoy these performances in your own seating area, physically distanced from other audience members. The maximum audience size is 200. Complete information about what to expect when you attend an event at Hylton on the Hill.
