The American Festival Pops Orchestra (AFPO) continues its tradition of spreading musical goodwill and cheer in this annual favorite! Holiday Pops: Songs of the Season returns under the baton of Artistic Director and Conductor Peter Wilson, U.S. Marine Veteran with 30 years of military service as a violinist and as senior enlisted music advisor to The White House. The AFPO comprises more than 60 professional musicians, including faculty members from George Mason University’s Dewberry School of Music, as well as instrumentalists from U.S. Armed Forces music ensembles and premier local orchestras. Enjoy a festive musical evening of seasonal favorites for the entire family.
