Instruction includes an overview of techniques for at-home papermaking using locally sourced and affordable materials. Also included: bookbinding techniques, silkscreens, and casting objects using previously hand pulled sheets.
This class is designed as an introduction for new students who will create their own artwork to frame! Clothing and shows may get wet. Wearing rubber-soled shoes and old clothing is recommended. This workshop series is FREE and open to Veterans, Servicemembers, and their families; children ages 12 and up may participate alongside their parents. Space is limited.
