This workshop is virtual and takes place via Zoom.

Join us for a four-week virtual series designed for military kids where they will learn songwriting skills in a virtual, collaborative environment led by instructors from Mason Community Arts Academy and Veterans and the Arts Initiative at George Mason University. Students may bring melodies in-progress, or come seeking fresh ideas and creative ways to approach music composition. Students do not need to be advanced singers or musicians to join this program, and will explore techniques of recording, producing, and performing original music at home.

This workshop series is open and FREE to military kids between the ages of 9 and 12. Space is limited.
