Peter Wilson, conductor

The American Festival Pops Orchestra (AFPO) continues its annual tradition of spreading musical goodwill and cheer in this audience favorite! Holiday Pops: Songs of the Season returns under the baton of Artistic Director and Conductor Peter Wilson, a former Marine violinist of The White House and a “brilliant artist” (Washington Post). Enjoy a festive evening of seasonal favorites designed for the entire family to enjoy together, plus special guest artists. The AFPO comprises more than 60 professional musicians, including faculty from George Mason University’s Dewberry School of Music, instrumentalists from music ensembles of the U.S. Armed Forces, and area orchestras. This merry occasion wouldn’t be complete without an audience sing-along to make spirits bright!

This performance is appropriate for all ages.

Tickets: $60, $51, $36; half-price for youth through Grade 12

This performance also takes place on Saturday, December 14 at 4 p.m. at our sister venue, Center for the Arts in Fairfax, VA.
